New Sharing and Creative Project Features
Share images via your cell phone. SendPix, ACDSee’s free online image sharing service, now offers mobile phone support, so you can easily share your images anytime, anywhere.
Get photos directly from your mobile phone folder.
Create PDF slide shows for email distribution. Produce Flash slide shows for online viewing. Save slide shows as screen savers using rich customization features to build and view stunning presentations.
Take the PC media experience into the living room by burning your images and media files to CD-R or DVD-R using ACDSee’s support for MPV and HighMAT.
Publish your photos to TiVo’s Digital Photo Viewer.
New Organizing and Data Management Features
Manage your images better using ACDSee 7’s improved Organize pane. See all your images at once using the Image Well. Select your images based on their rating, or show only those that are left unrated or uncategorized. Customize root level categories with unique names and icons.
Rate your photos quickly and easily. Set your image ratings using shortcut keys, then select your images by their assigned ratings.
Find images using multiple criteria searches. Now much easier to use, Selective Browsing allows you to narrow your image search to dynamically match specific criteria, such as folders, categories, and calendar dates.
View your image properties more effectively. ACDSee’s Property pane features improved keyword assignment, a more efficient way to set categories, and a more organized display of information.
Work with more tools in the Image Basket. Now, use the Image Basket like a virtual folder from which you can access a wide variety of ACDSee’s powerful editing and organizing features. Save and reuse the Image Basket contents at a later date. From within the Viewer window, you can now add or remove Image Basket items.
Archive your images to preserve your memories in a secure location while using ACDSee to find them later. ACDSee’s Create Disc Wizard now lets you simultaneously burn your images and media files to CD-R or DVD-R, and create thumbnails of your offline CDs.
New Viewing and Editing Features
Examine your images in their original RAW formats. ACDSee now supports RAW formats from all major camera manufactures including Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm, Olympus, Kodak, and Minolta.
View, browse, and convert images to the JPEG 2000 file format. Take advantage of better compression rates with JPEG 2000’s wavelet technology, preventing any loss of quality or the introduction of unwanted artefacts.
Compare similar images. Use ACDSee’s image comparison tool to pick out the best shot.
View a histogram of your image while working in the image Viewer window.
Maneuver while zoomed in on large images using the Navigation pane.
Use the Curves tool to correct exposure.

View your images’ colors accurately. With ACDSee’s color management support, know that the images you’re working with will display exactly the same regardless of which device you are using. With properly calibrated hardware, you can accurately view and print your photos using the color profile embedded or associated with your images.
Take advantage of 48-bit support for RGB and grayscale images. Convert RAW format images into high-quality TIFF’s. Then use ACDSee to apply filters, effects, and exposure correction.
