Основное происхождение таких CD–повреждений, неправильно записанная сессия с мультисессионного CD, финалайзинг, выполненный с ошибками. Основной особенностью действия программы CD Roller является прямое обращение к аппаратной части привода в обход существующих приложений Windows. Благодаря низкоуровневым методам и алгоритмам CD Roller может читать данные, которые в обычном варианте воспринимаются как испорченный фрагмент и/или потерю данных. Как один из вариантов таких алгоритмов — изменение скорости вращения CD-ROM-диска.   Особенности программы:     Работа с дисками, созданных популярными пакетами от Roxio, Nero, Sonic Solutions и других известных производителей пишущего софта.     Восстановление видео файлов с незавершенных дисков, записанных цифровыми DVD видеокамерами от ведущих производителей (Hitachi, Sony, Canon, Panasonic и Samsung), а также домашними DVD видеомагнитофонами.     Встроенный сплиттер конвертирует VOB или VRO видео файлы в MPEG и без потери качества. В дальнейшем, восстановленное видео может быть записано на новый диск при помощи собственных инструментов DVD авторинга и записи (прожига).     Программа напрямую читает диски с файловой системой UDF. Нет необходимости в установке дополнительных программ-драйверов чтения UDF дисков.     CDRoller находит и возвращает файлы с проблемных дисков, невидимые для Windows. В т.ч. случайно удаленные файлы, файлы из поврежденных папок, файлы с некорректно завершенных дисков.     Собственная утилита записи компакт-дисков (CD и DVD) позволяет записать новый диск с восстановленными данными не закрывая CDRoller.     В дополнении к средствам поиска и воостановления потерянных данных CDRoller предлагает вам набор дополнительных опций, включая CD/DVD тестер, исследователь секторов диска на низком уровне, создатель ISO-образа диска, граббер для аудио дисков, а также простой каталогизатор файлов и папок.     Поддерживается восстановление дисков, созданных с помощью drag and drop программ, таких как Adaptec DirectCD и Nero Burning ROM, даже записанных в мультисессии. For example, if you do not know an exact name of CD/DVD mastering program that created your bad disc, but you have the good one created by the same software, you can apply Test Disc option to the good disc and get the partition parameters first. Then, you run the forced scan on the bad disc (with the Unknown CD option), type the values under UDF Scan parameters dialog and find the lost files, simulating the good disc partition.     Main program window with empty CD/DVD drives now appears before analysis of inserted disc, with further messages in the status bar. This looks like a proof of normal work of the program if you've inserted a disc before CDRoller and analysis of bad disc requires an additional time.     Extended Data Recovery updated. Examine Sectors option is now available in the pop-up (context menu) under the Start Window, for the entire disk, logical drive, or selected partition. This allows to search for particular data (content) immediately, without analysis of file system.     Installation procedure slightly changed. After installation, the version number will not be displayed in the Start Menu folder name. For example, you will see a simple CDRoller name instead of CDRoller 11.0. This looks like an useful for future upgrades. Also, the setup program now allows to change CDRoller's location if it's required for saving the older version.     Numerous improvements, bugfixes and workarounds added.
