Just to clear some things up.
If the “send all traffic” option is turned on, the device will send all traffic through the VPN tunnel. If the device is in a GW network, the GW will relay the traffic, the internet is accessible via the GW client.
If the device is in a meshed network, the Hamachi peers won’t do that relaying, only the peers can be reached, the internet is not accessible from the device. To have a split tunnel setup, turn this option off.
The “send all traffic” check box in the web site has effect on iOS (deployed from mobile config file) and on Android in case of IPSec. If you set a PPTP manually on Android, you can turn on/off this option during the VPN setup. (the same is true for iOS , when PPTP is created manually).
To make clear the use of the certs: the certificates are needed by the IPSec only. Each time when the user sends the configuration, a new cert is generated (if IPSec is enabled). Only the latest cert is valid, so if you send the config twice, you can use the content of the second email only.
