Listary – небольшая и очень полезная утилита, дополняющая функциональность встроенного поискового движка Windоws. Вызывается «горячими» клавишами и заметно повышает скорость обнаружения нужных данных в списках любого типа – от списка файлов и папок до списка ключей реестра и других объектов, хранимых на жёстком диске. Одна из ключевых особенностей Listary – функция поиска по мере ввода текста в режиме реального времени: достаточно ввести несколько первых букв имени файла – и Listary попытается угадать интересующий пользователя объект, предложив список доступных вариантов. Утилита позволяет использовать групповые символы в поисковом запросе, что может оказаться полезным, если нет уверенности в точности написания имени файла. Listary не нуждается в настройке – всё готово к использованию сразу после установки. При желании можно изменить отдельные параметры – внешний вид поисковой панели и её местоположение на экране. Панель Listary может быть выведена на экран прямо на рабочем столе, в окне Проводника Windows, диспетчера задач или редактора реестра, а также в диалоговых окнах открытия/сохранения файлов в отдельных приложениях. После обнаружения нужного файла Listary обеспечит автоматический переход в нужную папку. Имеется интеграция с Total Commander.
